Owner guide: claim, post, promote

Rouleat shows hungry people the food spots around them as full-screen reels, then helps them pick one. This guide gets your restaurant, bar or food truck set up in about 15 minutes. Claiming and posting are free.

1Claim your page

Your place is probably already on Rouleat (we list places from Google and OpenStreetMap).

  1. Create a free account in the app: tap Profile and sign up with email or Google.
  2. Find your place: search its name, then open it.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap Own or manage this place? Claim it.
  4. Enter your role (owner, manager…), a business email, and how we can verify you, for example “I’m the owner; call the restaurant at (562) 555-0123 and ask for Maria”, or a link to your website listing your email.
  5. We check every claim by hand, usually within a day. You’ll get an alert when it’s approved, and a 🏪 Manage your place link appears in your Profile.

Not listed yet? Tap Profile → ➕ Add my restaurant or bar. It works for food trucks too.

Open Rouleat and claim your place

2Set up your page (10 minutes)

Open your dashboard from Profile → 🏪 Manage. The tabs across the top are where everything lives.

💡 Your checklist on the Overview tab shows what’s missing. A complete page (cover photo, 5 photos, a video, a menu, hours, a description and an order link) gets the most attention.

3Post like you would on Instagram or TikTok

Posts appear as full-screen reels in the feeds of people nearby, and on your page. People can like, comment, share and tap your button.

  1. Go to 📣 Posts and pick a photo, a video, or a text post with a colored background.
  2. Write a short line (“Birria tacos are back this weekend 🌮”), add a tag (Special, Event, New…), and pick a button: Order, Reserve, Menu, Call, Directions…
  3. Post now, or schedule it. You can pin your best post to the top of your page and repost old favorites.

Comments: when people comment, you get an alert. Reply from the post and your reply shows as your restaurant with a ✓ Owner badge. You can delete comments on your own posts, and report or block anyone who’s abusive (tap ⋯ on the comment).

💡 What works: vertical video (9:16), 10–30 seconds, food in the first second, real kitchen moments (the cheese pull, the sizzle). Post 2–3 times a week. Answer every comment in the first day.

4Add deals and happy hours

In 🏷️ Deals, start from a preset (Happy hour, Lunch special, Taco Tuesday, Weekend brunch, Late night…) or write your own, then pick the days and times. While a deal is on, your reel gets a 🔥 badge, you show up in the “Deals today” filter, and the Rouleat spin favors you. People who saved your place get an alert about new deals.

Food trucks: open your truck’s page in the app and share where you’ll be, and you’ll show as 🚚 Here now in the feed while you’re parked there.

5Promote when you want more people

Everything above is free. When you want a bigger push, use 🚀 Promote. Everything paid is clearly labeled Sponsored, and paying never changes your ratings or reviews.

Promote your place

Your place appears as a full-screen Sponsored reel in nearby feeds and near the top of search.

💡 Start small: try a $5 weekend boost on a Friday, or boost the post that already got the most likes. Check the results on the Overview tab, then go bigger with what worked.

6See what’s working

The 📊 Overview tab shows, by day: how many people saw you in the feed, opened your page, saved you, spun you, got directions, tapped to order, shared, checked in, and liked or commented on your posts. During a promotion you also see what it delivered so far.

?Questions

Is Rouleat free for restaurants?

Yes. Claiming your page, editing it, posting, deals, menus and stats are free. You only pay if you choose a promotion, a post boost or the done-for-you menu build.

Someone left a rude or false comment. What can I do?

You can delete any comment on your own posts. For anything abusive, tap ⋯ on it to report it or block the person. Reported content is reviewed by our team, usually within 24 hours.

A photo or detail about my place is wrong.

Once you’ve claimed your page, change it yourself in Page info or Photos & video. Stock photos are labeled and disappear when you upload your own. Your address and map pin are locked; email us to change them.

Can more than one person manage the page?

Yes. Each person creates their own account and sends a claim for the same place; we approve each one.

What are the rules for posts?

Keep it accurate (real prices, real food, no misleading health claims), use photos you own, and follow the community rules. Posts that break them are removed.
