Terms of Use

Last updated September 30, 2026

By using Rouleat you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

1. What Rouleat is

Rouleat is a discovery tool that helps you browse and randomly pick places to eat. It gathers listings from third-party sources, from owners and from users. We do not own, operate, endorse or control the businesses shown, and we are not affiliated with them unless a listing clearly says it is managed by its owner.

2. Information may be wrong

Hours, prices, menus, deals, dietary labels, ratings, photos, locations and “open now” status can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Always confirm important details with the business, especially about allergies and dietary needs. Rouleat is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.

3. Images and videos

Some photos and videos are generic stock media used for atmosphere and are not pictures of the business shown. Menu dishes without their own picture may show a stock photo labeled “Example photo”, which is not the restaurant’s actual dish. Read the Images & Content Notice.

4. Your account and content

4a. Community rules, reporting and blocking

Rouleat has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Don’t post or send:

Every post, comment and profile has a ⋯ menu to report it, and you can block any member (they aren’t told). Reported content may be hidden automatically while we review it. We aim to review reports within 24 hours, and we remove content and disable accounts that break these rules. Repeated or serious violations lead to a permanent ban.

5. Business owners

If you claim a listing, you confirm you are authorized to represent that business. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details, menus, prices, posts and deals you publish, and for honoring any deal you post. Posts and replies you make as the business must follow the community rules above and must not be misleading (for example about prices, health claims or awards). You may only upload photos and videos you own or are allowed to use.

5a. Paid promotions, post boosts and menu builds

6. Ordering, reservations and links

“Order”, “Reserve”, “Directions” and similar buttons take you to other companies’ websites and apps. Those purchases and bookings are between you and that company, under its terms. We are not responsible for them.

7. Acceptable use

Don’t scrape, overload, reverse-engineer or misuse the service, and don’t use it to break the law.

8. Trademarks

Restaurant names, logos and brands belong to their owners and are shown only to identify the business. Their appearance does not mean they sponsor or endorse Rouleat.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Rouleat and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your visits to, purchases from or reliance on information about any business listed. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of US$50 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (normally $0). Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

10. Indemnity

You agree to cover any claims caused by content you post or by your breach of these terms.

11. Changes and ending

We may change or stop the service, or update these terms. Continuing to use Rouleat after a change means you accept it. You can stop using Rouleat and delete your account at any time.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state and country where the operator of Rouleat is based, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
